NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS - INDIA

India has several thousands of realtors or brokers operating in over 35 metropolitan cities. They represent interests of large corporations on the one side and domestic consumers on the other. NAR-INDIA has been fashioned not only as a single national level umbrella organization representing the interests of thousands of realtors/brokers operating all over the country, but also an organization which aims to elevate the standards of practice of the real estate brokerage business to a global level where ethics, transparency, accountability, rule of law and good governance prevail. NAR-INDIA is the credible voice of realtors in India.

BANGALORE REALTORS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA

Bangalore Realtors Association of India is actively managed by an elected Governing Body consisting of 8 members, working within the ambit of the Memorandum of Articles of Association and Rules and Regulations. The governing body meets regularly once in a month at the association’s own office. BRA-I has five sub committees formed to resolve public issues on property matters. Acting as a credible voice for realtors, BRA-I’s aims to streamline and promote real estate brokerage in order to achieve transparency and fair dealing in the industry. It aims to elevate the standards of real estate brokerage business to a global level.

CONFEDERATION OF REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATES - INDIA

Aspiration is at the root of growth. CREA-(I)’s story begins in 2010. The real estate sector in Karnataka, specifically Bangalore was going through heady phase of growth which began a good three decades before. The sector was entering a mature phase, amidst evolved customer expectations which the existing real estate body wasn’t able to cope up with. New generation property buyers demanded a better informed and transparent intermediation in course of buying a property. Sensing this, a few experienced real estate associates came together informally and CREA (I) was born as a registered body on 26-07-2010.

REAL ESTATE REGULATORY AUTHORITY

The Real Estate Regulation and Development (RERA) Act, 2016 is considered as one of the landmark legislations passed by the Government of India. Its objective is to reform the real estate sector in India, encouraging greater transparency, citizen centricity, accountability and financial discipline. This is in line with the vast and growing economy of India as in future many people will be investing in real estate sector.

  • Protection of the consumer / end user interest.
  • Establishing a clear and quick dispute resolution mechanism.
  • Promoting good governance in the sector and creating confidence amongst real estate investors.
